medieval project for humanities which was a study of history and art for the gifted and talented in my old school - sophomore year. we did our own little pilgrimage (it was actually a crusade, but the principal didn't approve of us having a crusade), and i was elected queen of germany :) this is an illuminated manuscript in color pencil and ink. note acanthus leaves courtesy of the greco-roman age.
